Barry Dequanne
Barry Dequanne is the Director of the International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL), with 30+ years of leadership and teaching experience in international schools across Eswatini, Argentina, Brazil, and more. He holds degrees in mathematical physics, computer science, education, and leadership. Barry serves as AAIE Board President and SGIS Treasurer and has held key roles in AASSA and AASB. He is also a consultant in school improvement and governance. Barry is married with two children.

Dr. Ben Ploeger is the Director General of the American School of Asunción, Paraguay, driving record enrollment, academic growth, and lower faculty turnover. He was Superintendent at Kaohsiung American School, Head of School at Eagle Ridge Academy, and a teacher-turned-Academy Director in New Orleans. A former Peace Corps volunteer, he holds an Ed.D. from Columbia University.

Craig Johnson is the Executive Director of the Global Recruitment Collaborative (GRC) and CEO of UnconstrainED. With over 30 years in education, including leadership roles at the American School of Bombay and American School of Brasilia, Craig has been a key driver of innovative educational practices. He holds a B.A. from UC Berkeley and an M.Ed. from Harvard University and actively contributes to global education initiatives.

A Queen’s University top 50 influential alumnus, he holds degrees from Queen’s and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.

Wayne Rutherford is the Director of the American School of Milan. He has been the Director of four international schools in Japan, Senegal, Egypt and Italy for a total of 25 years. Wayne is originally from Oregon, and earned two degrees from Stanford University. He has recruited over 200 teachers and administrators for his schools.
