Be Relevant: Succeed in a competitive job market

One thing we are certain of as educators is that we are charged with the responsibly and privilege of preparing students for a future for which we have little knowledge of. While in pursuit of a vision of what education will mean in the future, our relevance is a key factor in how we promote and celebrate ourself as professionals who can add value to a learning community. What makes us relevant and how to best prepare to celebrate the value we can offer to prospective employers will be discussed, in addition to uncovering your uniqueness as educators of colour, from a position of strength.
