AS A CANDIDATE

If you are a candidate and looking for leadership positions then register with the GRC. Once you are approved search for vacancies under the school "GRC Leadership Search" in our database so we can contact you for future openings.

Our approach to recruiting is collaborative and provides your school’s stakeholders with ownership and voice in the process. 


WHAT WE DO

We will listen, learn, advise, and consult with you to:
 

  • Establish a school-based and diverse hiring committee

  • Develop a job description and job posting

  • Post the opening and engage with social media to attract the largest pool of candidates possible

  • Invite applications from our database of 10,000 candidates

  • Curate the applications for the hiring committee to consider

  • Design the framework of the interview process, crafting how candidates will engage with you throughout the process (verbal interviews, written tasks, videos, etc.)

  • Create rubrics for different stages of the process 

  • Consult your school’s leadership team on reference checking requirements and processes

  • Provide anti-bias and interview training for the hiring committee

  • Design the candidate visits (virtual or in-person)

  • Draft communications to candidates and stakeholders

  • Set up protocols for the hiring committee to use to ensure data-based decision making

  • Develop a tool for stakeholders to provide feedback on the candidates

  • Offer recommendations for preparing a competitive compensation package

​

  • Conduct background checks or verify the credentials of the applicants

  • Provide any organization and communication tools such as Zoom, Google suite, etc


​WHAT YOU DO
 

  • Work with the GRC to share information about your organization

  • Appoint a primary point of contact for coordination with the GRC

  • Assign volunteers to serve on the hiring committee

  • Provide the necessary time for the hiring committee to work on the recruitment process

  • Treat all information about candidates as strictly confidential
